CommonSpot v4.6.3 - Recommended Practices (pdf)

This document was created to provide some help to those who are new to CommonSpot and those who have been using it for awhile. The content of the document comes from focus group meetings held during the summer of 2007. We interviewed developers and asked them to provide input on several topics, such as, accessibility, performance, navigation, and usability.

Please use this information at your own discretion, since many of the examples are specific to the site that is quoted and might not be relevant to every situation.

We also want to note that CommonSpot version 5 has been released and has addressed many issues brought forward in the document.
